Building on two successful years of January pre-season fundamentals camps, Elevate x BIWPA are taking South Africa’s premier training experience to the NEXT LEVEL in January 2027. 

Train directly under expert coaches from the Barcelona International Water Polo Academy for an intensive two-day camp built on world-class Spanish methodology.

What to Expect

• Spanish Methodology: Elite technical guidance that has taken the Spanish water polo teams to the top of water polo.
• Skill Refinement: High-intensity drills focusing on core fundamental mechanics, attacking, and defensive execution -the stuff you ACTUALLY need to become a better player in 2027. 
• Game IQ & Decision-Making: Tactical real-game simulations designed to build on your understanding of when and how to execute the key maneuvers. 

But in addition to the core training camp, we have decided to level up on the programme:

New 2027 Enhancements

• Athlete Sports Nutrition Guide: Practical strategies on fueling, hydration, and recovery to sustain your physical output.
• Mental Skills Workshop & Toolset: Psychological tools to build resilience, focus, and sharp composure under pressure.
• Parent Pathways Session: A session providing parents with actionable clarity on athlete development and playing pathways.
• Fun Games Evening & Prizes: A high-energy evening session giving athletes space to apply their newly acquired skills in a dynamic match format, complete with awesome prizes.

  • 18:00-19:30 Parent pathways discussion in meeting room
  • 18:00-19:30- Fun Mixed Games session in pool
